French Fusion

France is a diverse country that has spread its' culture and language throughout the world.

The French language can be found in numerous places in the world. French has spread to some of the smallest islands. La Martinique, Clipperton, and Saint Martin are just a few of the islands influenced by France.  Many countries in Africa; Cameroon, Rwanda, and Niger have adopted the French language. In addition, to African countries some European countries, Canada and Switzerland, has French as a first or secondary language. Furthermore,  the English language use French terms and words throughout the day. American cities St. Louis, Louisville, and Detroit are just a few of the cities with a French fused name.

French is known for its complexity and technicality. However, French, lirke other languages can open up many doors. Learning a new language increases ones vocabulary and intellect. Speaking multiple languages can give someone a better job because that person is able to communicate with different types of people. Being able to communicate with different people provides one an understanding of multiple countries gives one an in site on their culture. In France they address an older married  woman is called "Madame" but a young unmarried women is addressed as "Madamoiselle". These terms or titles are the formal ways to address a women.  The French culture and language like other cultures should not be intimidated by its complexity but embrace the beauty with learning about the language.

Therefore, the best way to embrace a culture is to enjoy their food. The French food is known for its beauty and extravagant taste. Beauty within a French dish is cultural fusion. The Couscous et legumes has a Middle eastern or Moroccan fusion with a French twist. Couscous with the Moroccan spices are fused and combined with European and French vegetables. French food tells a story and the unique diversity can be consumed in every bite.

I am in love with learning and being part of a different culture and my love for France began in culinary class. Class to class I, with other students, created a beautiful masterpiece. We made ratitulle, chocolate sulfate, and any puff pastry from lady fingers to eclairs. Every class I began to understand and fall in love with the French food. The recipes and technicalities taught me the importance of how things are to be addressed and handled.

The French language and culture are beautiful and exciting way of life that I will soon be a part of.

A toute a l'heure,
